RASCI and SkillEd India,a JV between Manav
Rachna Vidyantariksha and Kunskapsskolan Education Sweden
announced the launch of LMS integrated Digital Learning
& Certification Portal, structured on the KED Learning
Methodology framework from Kunskapsskolan Education-Sweden,
developed by SkillEd India.
RASCI, in association with Directorate of
Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Goa conducted a
first-of-its-kind #online ‘Train the Trainer’ program for
the trainers who are selected to train the candidates
competing for State-Level skills competition as a part of
IndiaSkills2020. Mr. Neeraj Paul, expert in Visual
Merchandising skill for WorldSkillsled the workshop, along
with Mr. Ankit Anand, Medallion Winner for India in 2019
WorldSkills sharing insights about the journey to success at
WorldSkills Kazan 2019.
RASCI partnered with Spencer's Retail to
facilitate assessment & certification of Spencer’s
employees for Retail Sales Associate job role (equivalent to
NSQF Level 4), under Recognition of Prior Learning with Best
in Class Employer (RPL BICE) scheme to provide retail
employees due respect, pride & dignity in
society.
RASCI & GIZ conducted a first of its
kind #online ‘Train the Trainer Program’, structured on
German Dual Vocational Education and Training model,
blending theory with work-place based training in an
endeavor to improve the effectiveness of skills training to
meet the demand for the job-ready skilled workforce for the
retailsector.Mr.Lawrence Pringle International
expertconducted the workshop & shared valuable insights
with participants.
RASCI partnered with GMR Varalakshmi
Foundation -Gmrvcel, Hyderabad to facilitate assessment
& certification of GMVRF employees for Retail Sales
Associate job role, equiv. to National Skills Qualifications
Framework NSQF Level 4, under Recognition of Prior Learning
scheme.
RASCI congratulated Shoppers Stop for being
the #RASCI Champion for Recognition of Prior Learning in the
Skill Category at the TRRAINRetailAwards 2020. Under the
PMKVY Scheme, Shoppers Stop assessed maximum number of
employees from their existing workforce aligned with the
NSQF framework,recognized by the Govt. of India.
RASCI congratulated Reliance Retail as the
#RASCI Skill Ambassador & Skill Advocacy Leader at the
TRRAIN Retail Awards 2020, for their all-round superlative
contribution aligned with the Skill India mission. Reliance
Retail achieved the highest no. of apprentices contracted
combined with the highest no. of self-funded assessments for
their existing workforce.
RASCI congratulated Spencer's Retail for
being the #RASCI Leader for Apprenticeship contracting in
the Skill Category at the TRRAINRetailAward 2020. Spencer's
Retail not only complied with the norms of the
Apprenticeship Act but also surpassed the compliance norms
with the highest percentage of apprentices contracted w.r.t.
their existing workforce.
RASCI partnered with Delhi Police & IACT
Education to conduct a placement drive where prominent
Industry partner Big Bazaar hired candidates for retail
sales positions. #YUVA candidates to get a secure
livelihood.
